Over the past few days there has been a significant rise in the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the UK. Unfortunately, this has included members of our University community.
The University of Glasgow announced that as of Monday 16 March all face-to-face teaching at our Glasgow and Dumfries campuses will end and that course materials will be placed online. Exams scheduled for the April/May assessment period will not be undertaken in exam halls on campus. We have recently moved to introduce social distancing protocols.
The University of Glasgow’s Coronavirus information webpage has up-to-date guidance regarding the University’s response to the COVID-19 outbreak, including a comprehensive list of FAQs for staff and students and regular updates.
All GCILS events are cancelled, in the first instance until May 2020, and GCILS staff are currently working remotely from home.
Please continue to check our Twitter feed, our website and the School of Law pages for details.
