SIEL’s Postgraduate and Early Professionals/Academics Network (PEPA/SIEL) fosters collaboration and mentoring opportunities for emerging academics and professionals in International Economic Law (IEL). PEPA/SIEL fulfils these goals through various activities, including organising conferences at which emerging IEL academics and professionals can present and discuss their research in a supportive and welcoming environment.

This year’s conference is organised by PEPA/SIEL in collaboration with the Universities of Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The organisers are pleased to announce the following keynote speakers for the conference: Professor Makane Moïse Mbengue (University of Geneva); Dr Mavluda Sattorova (University of Liverpool); and Professor Diane Desierto (University of Notre Dame).

Panels topics for the conference include: sustainability and fragmentation; contemporary issues in international trade and investment arbitration; and global economic governance in a pandemic. The programme, outlining speakers and timings, can be accessed here.
